Yes, what we talk about during sessions will be kept between us. When I go for clinical supervision as part of ethical practice, identifiers will not be revealed. However, there are some critical situations where a breach of confidentiality might be necessary but only for the safety of you and/or others.

In case of an emergency, please call the Police at 999 and/or the Emergency Services at 995. You can ask the staff to give me a call if deemed in your best interest. By so doing, you are giving me consent to share with them what is necessary to help you

Sure! I enjoy working with young people! If you are less than 18 years old, we would need consent from the adult responsible for you to start psychotherapy.

The first session is usually for you to settle comfortably and for me to understand more what’s brought you here. We will also take some time to do address some administrative needs

Psychotherapy is a commitment between you and I, in service of you. In my experience, generally, 50-min sessions weekly or every 2 weeks is recommended for individual therapy. During our first session, a wise balance between all your needs and concerns will emerge for us to agree on a frequency, which can also be negotiated as we progress. How long the entire therapy journey lasts for depends on how you experience yourself. I have worked with clients for as short as a few sessions up to years of therapy. Rest assured, after the initial appointment, if you find yourself having sufficient takeaways, you could also decide to end there.

Sessions are held in a confidential counselling space centrally located in Singapore. Virtual sessions are also possible if it suits your situation and our schedules better.
