Blind to See

Recently 2 of my friends helped proof-read my writings. On these writings, I spent hours upon hours writing, reading and correcting. I spent so much time that I believe I knew the words through and through.

So when my friends picked up on some blatantly obvious errors, I was floored - How could I possibly have missed such elementarily glaring mistakes despite my best effort?

One of my friend said it’s because I’ve been staring at it for such a long time, I needed a second pair of eyes to notice what I could not see.

This led me to a psychological epiphany.

Dear reader,

Have you ever been steeped in a situation you think you know full well?

Maybe a relationship that you believe will never turnaround …

Perhaps a crisis you’re in and you simply cannot see any light …

Or, indeed in yourself, a shackling mindset that seems impossible to ever shift?

You might not be seeing all there is.

Would you like a second pair of eyes?

Consider reaching out to a counsellor or psychotherapist.
